Do you or one of your students/clients have a story that you would like to share? If so, then send them to Juli Cole at press_release@icelandics.org or (412) 779-2679.

The promotion committee consists of an enthusiastic group looking forward to working on many ideas for the future promotion of Icelandic Horses.   I would like to welcome more of USIHC members to join the Promotion Committee.   We are open to any ideas that individuals may have to help promote this great breed of horse.   If you can spare a little time and feel you have some experience to add to our group, we would greatly appreciate your help.

In 2004 Congress invested in a promotional table top display that is offered to Regional Clubs to use when participating in breed demonstrations in areas throughout the U.S.   While there are some requirements to use the display, USIHC will pay for shipping to and from your area to qualified groups.   We encourage all Regional Clubs to take advantage of this beautiful breed display.

USIHC has also received a gift of a FEIF flag.   This is also available for the regional clubs to use for events and demonstrations.   The flag would make a nice addition to the Evaluations that are being held now on a more regular basis in the U.S.   The size of the flag is 5 feet by 8 feet and, while it is made for display on a flag pole, it also works well mounted on a wall as a banner.
