The USIHC Youth Committee supports, encourages, and develops young riders within the United States Icelandic Horse Congress community. Its mission is to create meaningful opportunities for youth involvement—whether through sport competition, educational programs, leadership development, or special youth-focused events.

The committee helps coordinate youth initiatives such as clinics, scholarships, awards, and international training opportunities, while also fostering mentorship between experienced members and the next generation of riders. It works to ensure that young members feel welcomed, supported, and empowered within the broader Icelandic horse community.
